Best app of all times! I allow my kids to play games on my phone. I have quite a few games for my 3yr old. I once turned my back on my 3yr old (2 at the time) for a moment and he had accessed FaceBook and sent a friend’s request to someone who commented on a friends post. As funny as that was, it could have been so much worse.
This app fixes all of that. I can hand my kids my phone and allow them to play for how ever long they want with no worries. It has settings to give you some freedom. My kids can’t navigate away from this (all their games are inside this app), they don’t get the ad popups, they can’t access the web, no in app purchases, etc… it is GREAT!.

parent and child friendly!! Totally keeps my kids out of my stuff, while giving them full access to theirs! Aautomatically turns off the web to keep ads out and prevent kids from downloading things. Best app!!

Awesome Functionality. This is great not only for kids but for grandparents too! It makes the device 10x easier to use and you can allow calls and texting through the “selected apps” feature! I’m just glad I can change the background to something not too childish for my grandfather.

Does what it says, is easy for a 18 month-old to use and a wonderful help for parents in occasions when you can’t let the kid run loose. However, Google Play store and Facebook are not entirely blocked – once the child lands there via a link in the app, they can navigate around rather freely. Also, for some reason, exiting the app does not function properly – and it’s frustrating having to go through the process *twice* every time.

I installed this app to after finding my 3 year old trying to download paid for apps & play around with other apps that weren’t for him such as my calendar, camera, texts etc. Now I get control over what he can access & he can’t get at those bits I don’t want him to. It even disables the home key & I have to enter a pin to exit so he can’t get out! He hates it but I love it

Been waiting for something like this!

Liked: selection of specific videos which could be played, not just specific folders. Good control what happens during and after the video. Wish: The video thumbnails were larger, or could select size and text. I have a phone, not a tablet, and it’s hard to pick especially if thumbnails are very similar. Dislike: The way it keeps reminding me that I have to press menu and select exit to exit. On the phone, it’s very obtrusive and pops every time the back key is pressed more than once, which happens frequently with impatient children. Similarly, I don’t need to be constantly reminded that child lock is disable, nor do I wish to use the Kid’s Place app. Conclusion: it’ll do until it gets better or something better comes along. So far, no similar apps.
